Confirmed: German club reveal £19m Arsenal target is desperate to make move

Ricardo Rodriguez wants to leave Wolfsburg amid speculation he’s set to join Arsenal, the German club’s sporting director Klaus Allofs has confirmed.
The Swiss left-back has made 157 appearances Wolfsburg since 2010 but recently admitted staying with the Bundesliga outfit is ‘unrealistic’.
And, following Rodriguez’s comments, Allofs has fueled speculation by admitting the 23-year-old is keen to move on this summer.
‘As we have recently gathered, it was clear. His idea is to leave us,’ Allofs told Blick.
Rodriguez’s international team-mate Granit Xhaka recently secured a transfer to the Emirates and this could help push through a deal.
It’s understood the defender has a £19million release clause in his contract at Wolfsburg.
