The Premier League champions are keen to sign the
27-year-old forward - even if in-demand striker Jamie Vardy decides to
snub a move to Arsenal this summer
Leicester City have made a bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The report claims that the Premier League champions are keen to sign the 27-year-old, even if Jamie Vardy turns down a move to Arsenal.
Deeney, who scored 13 Premier League goals last season, is valued at £15 million.
Vardy is expected to complete his move to Arsenal before Euro 2016 but Leicester are desperate for their striker to stay and are reportedly ready to offer him a new contract worth £80,000 a week.
