Euro 2016: Bale can beat England on his own when they meet, says Zidane
Gareth Bale is good enough to beat England on his own, according to his manager at Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane.
" One player cannot make a team, but one player can inspire a team. With the way Gareth has been playing, his Welsh team mates will be looking to him for inspiration," Zidane said, as reported by the Evening Standard.
Gareth Bale was one of the stand out performers in last weekend's Champions League triumphs, and Zidane expects him to shine on the big stage once more when the Euro's start in June.
“I am so pleased that Gareth will be playing in France this summer. He is a phenomenal player, one of the best in the world. For him not to have played in a major international tournament would not have been right," Zidane added.
Bale guided Wales to the Euros scoring seven of the 11 goals Chris Coleman's side managed in the group stage as they secured automatic qualification to France.
